本学で学ぶすべての学生を対象としており、研究者・学術英語の専門家による個別の相談を提供します
毎週月曜日、水曜日と木曜日に合計15コマの個別セッションの時間を設けています
This service is available to all students studying at FUN, and provides individual consultations with experts in research and academic English
Individual sessions are available for a total of 15 sessions per week on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays
英語を使う機会が増え続け、海外の人との意思疎通、学習、教育、研究など、その目的と用途も多様化しています。このような環境で成功するには、文脈にふさわしい英語を生産的に使えることがとても重要になり、それはすなわち、学生が英語の使い方について適切なサポートと指導を受けることの重要性がこれまで以上に高まっていることを意味します。本サービスでは、本学学部生と大学院生の学習・研究・キャリア目標の達成を支援するため、毎週月曜日、水曜日と木曜日に（相談者1人につき）30分の個別相談の時間を設け、学術英語に関する支援とガイダンスを提供します。様々な種類の相談に対応します。学生同士では解決できない英語の問題を抱え、大学教員という専門家の視点にもとづくアドバイスが欲しい方は、ぜひご利用ください。
In this service, we provide support and guidance on academic English to assist undergraduate and graduate students at FUN in achieving their learning, research, and career goals. We offer several 30-minute individual consultations (per person) every Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday to address a variety of English-related needs. If you have English language problems or questions that cannot be solved by fellow students and would like advice based on the perspective of university faculty, please take advantage of this service and make a reservation. We look forward to working with you !
AERSのセッションは、アカデミックライティングスキルを向上させる上でとても有意義だったと思います。詳細で具体的な例をたくさん使って説明してもらえたことで、しっかりと理解することができました。また、ジャーナルによって求められるアカデミックライティングのスタイルが異なるということも新たに学びました。これからは、論文を投稿する前に、まずそのジャーナルが求めるアカデミックライティングの特徴を知る必要があると知りました。セッションを通じた先生からのサポートにとても感謝しています。FUNの大学院生
I think the AERS session was very meaningful for improving academic writing skills. Through the use of detailed and specific examples, I was able to understand the content thoroughly. I also learned that different academic writing styles are required depending on the journal. From now on, I realize that it's necessary to know the characteristics of academic writing required by the journal before submitting a paper. 私は今回、国際学会に投稿する英文原稿へのフィードバックを受けるためにAERSを利用しました。担当の先生は、私の論文の長所・強みをとても分かりやすく指摘してくださいました。また、論文の改善すべき点についても、単に英語の記述についてだけではなく、研究内容に関するものも併せて指摘して頂けました。論文を英語で執筆すること自体には問題がないけれども、より多くの研究者から原稿へのフィードバックが欲しいという方には、AERSを受けてみられることをお勧めします。FUNの大学院生
I used AERS to receive feedback on an English manuscript that I was planning to submit to an international conference. The teacher pointed out the strengths of my paper in a very easy-to-understand manner. In addition, they provided feedback not only on the English description but also on the research content that needed improvement. I received clear guidance on how to present a poster at my first international conference. I found AERS to be very helpful, especially when there is not enough information available on the conference website or when it is difficult to imagine the flow of the presentation. Initially, I lacked confidence in presenting at conferences in English, and felt scared about it. However, I was able to feel like I could manage it somehow, which was a great relief for me mentally. Regarding the content, I asked for support in presenting at an international conference, and received flexible and diverse advice, including editing my paper and slides, and advice on how to present.
